11. What are the
installation
requirements?The machine is free standing. An accessory kit is comes with the machine for the machine to be bolted to the wall as part of safety and security requirements.
12. What
are the power
requirements?
DVD ON TIME machines use very little power. On average, it uses as much electricity as a light bulb. The maximum power draw is 110 VAC, at 2 amps.
13. What are the communication
requirements?
Internet access is required.
14. Who pays for machine and
inventory?
The machine owner/operator buys the machine and operates it. He/she may then buy DVDs from a DVD Wholesaler like VPD (Video Products Distribution, Inc.).
15. Who loads new discs
into machine?
The operator or the owner of the machine is responsible for loading the DVDs. Each DVDs must have an RFID tag. The operator will buy the RFID
tag and attach it on the disc. The operator also has to put a “This side up”
sticker on the outside of the DVD case to identify which side of the box faces
up when inserting into the machine.
16. What happens to old inventory?
You can configure the machine to sell the used inventory or return the DVD to your wholesaler if they accept returns.
17. How do I make sure my
customers get a damage
free disc?
When the rental customer gets the DVD, he/she
has 10 minutes to look it over. If the disc is returned within 10 minutes, there
will be no charge to the customer.
18. How can I make sure that the correct disc was placed back in the case when returned or if disc is in there at all?
The RFID electronic tag on the DVD will guarantees that there is a disc in the box when returned. There is also an electronic tag on the box to make sure that is a
DVD ON TIME box.
